Employee Spotlight: Drew Muzzey’s Journey with Bank of New Hampshire

A Journey from Bank Services Representative to Fraud Analyst

Drew Muzzey began his career at Bank of New Hampshire in May 2021 as a part-time Bank Services Representative while on college break. After spending a year in that role, Drew transitioned to full-time in May 2022. His dedication and desire to grow within the Bank led him to apply for a Fraud Analyst position, which he secured in March 2023.

Drew’s story is a reminder that career paths can evolve in unexpected and rewarding ways. Reflecting on his journey, Drew shared, “I never really had a strong idea of what I wanted to do for a living when I was younger. Being a Fraud Analyst was certainly not something on my radar, but I’m happy and incredibly grateful to have found what I’m doing and for such a great company.”

Opportunities for Growth

One of the key reasons Drew has thrived at BNH is the wide variety of educational opportunities available to employees. “BNH provides a number of educational opportunities for its employees, both in and outside of one’s specific position. It’s highly encouraged throughout the company that if someone wants to learn anything within the banking industry, they go do it,” Drew explained. This culture of continuous learning and development has allowed Drew to expand his skill set and pursue new opportunities within the Bank.

Memorable Moments and Lasting Support

When asked about a memorable experience at BNH, Drew fondly recalled an employee gathering at Gunstock, where he spent some time riding up the chairlift with his colleague Jim Glover. “Jim has been incredibly supportive of me, is always willing to talk, and is a prime example of the quality of people that work at BNH,” Drew said. He also added the significance of Gunstock to him personally, and how the night “exemplified BNH’s commitment to giving back to their employees.” It’s these moments of connection and support that make BNH a special place to work.

Driven by Hard Work and Team Spirit

Drew’s motivation at work comes from the people around him. “The thing that keeps me motivated at BNH is knowing how hard everyone else works around me. Being surrounded by examples of good, hard-working colleagues only results in one thing: more hard work,” he shared. This sense of shared purpose and dedication is what makes BNH a workplace where employees feel supported and inspired to give their best.

For those just starting their careers, Drew has simple but powerful advice: “Work hard no matter what position or title you find yourself in or start in.” Drew’s own career journey is a testament to the opportunities that hard work and dedication can unlock.
