Bank of New Hampshire Donates $2,500 to Family Promise of Greater Concord

10/05/2026

Concord, New Hampshire – October 5, 2026 – Bank of New Hampshire has donated $2,500 to Family Promise of Greater Concord, supporting the organization’s Homelessness Prevention and Stabilization Program and helping local families facing financial challenges stay safely housed.

Family Promise of Greater Concord (FPGC) helps families experiencing housing instability avoid homelessness through personalized case management, targeted financial assistance for rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other essential expenses, and connections to community resources. As rising costs continue to place greater financial strain on New Hampshire families, demand for these services has increased significantly. FPGC has already provided as much financial assistance in the first four months of 2026 as it did during the first six months of 2025, and at the current rate of demand, its housing stabilization assistance budget is expected to be depleted before the colder winter months, when requests traditionally increase.

“Families should not have to choose between putting food on the table, paying their utility bills or keeping a roof over their heads. We’re proud to support efforts that help local families navigate difficult times and access the resources they need to remain stable and secure. At Bank of New Hampshire, we believe in being there for the communities we serve, especially when our support can make a meaningful difference,” said Katie Jennings, AVP – Concord Banking Officer Manager.

The donation from Bank of New Hampshire will help Family Promise of Greater Concord continue providing families with the timely assistance they need to address immediate financial challenges and avoid losing their housing. By combining financial support with individualized case management and connections to community resources, the program helps families build greater stability and work toward long-term housing security.

“Preventing homelessness starts with being able to step in before a family reaches a crisis point. The generosity of Bank of New Hampshire allows us to continue meeting families where they are and providing practical support when it matters most. Their investment will help families maintain stability, remain in their homes, and move forward with greater confidence,” said Stephen Croke, Executive Director of Family Promise of Greater Concord.

For Bank of New Hampshire, supporting Family Promise of Greater Concord is part of a broader commitment to strengthening the communities where its employees, customers, and neighbors live and work.
