Laconia, New Hampshire – June 24, 2026 – Construction of Harriman Hill III, a new affordable housing development by Lakes Region Community Developers (LRCD), is scheduled for completion this summer. Located in Wolfeboro, NH, the property will feature 30 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, including five units reserved for individuals with disabilities who require supportive housing.
Bank of New Hampshire supported the project through the purchase of $20,000 in New Hampshire tax credits awarded by the NH Community Development Finance Authority. The investment aligns with the bank’s 2026 commitment to affordable housing initiatives that help individuals and families access safe, stable and reasonably priced housing.
“Access to affordable housing remains a critical need in our state,” said Ally Wendelken, AVP – CRA & Assistant Compliance Officer at Bank of New Hampshire. “We are grateful for the opportunity to support Lakes Region Community Developers with this important project, which will provide individuals and families with a safe, affordable place to call home.”
“We are appreciative of Bank of New Hampshire’s investment in Harriman Hill III and its commitment to expanding affordable housing opportunities in our region,” said Carmen Lorentz, LRCD Executive Director. “Partnerships like this make it possible to create housing that meets critical community needs while helping residents build stable, healthy futures close to where they live, work and volunteer.”
