BNH Participates in Statewide #NHBanksGiveBack Month of Giving Effort

Laconia, New Hampshire – November 18, 2024 – During the month of October, Bank of New Hampshire participated in #NHBanksGiveBack, a volunteer celebration organized annually by the NH Bankers Association. “We were pleased to join the banking industry in New Hampshire to help celebrate the ongoing support of our local communities through community service and financial support,” stated Chris Logan, President & CEO for Bank of New Hampshire.
#NHBanksGiveBack is a coordinated month of service where NH Bankers Association’s member banks are asked to engage in one or more of their regularly scheduled community service efforts during the month of October.
“Banks in New Hampshire are united in their consistent and continued support of our communities through hours of volunteerism and financial support to local non-profit and civic organizations. This one month of giving by New Hampshire’s banking industry highlights the longstanding practice by our members to regularly give back to their communities,” said Kristy Merrill, President/CEO of NH Bankers.
Bank of New Hampshire proudly engaged in a range of charitable activities during the #NHBanksGiveBack campaign, with a total of 24 dedicated volunteers contributing 86 volunteer hours. In addition to contributing valuable time, BNH also provided $19,750 in financial support to various initiatives across the state. Bank of New Hampshire’s commitment to making a positive impact on communities goes beyond banking. The organizations served by BNH across New Hampshire in October included the following:
- Donating to End 68 Hours of Hunger’s Food Drive in Rochester
- Donating to the NH Coalition to End Homelessness Hope Starts Here Scholarship in Manchester
- Sponsoring the Nashua PAL’s Night of Champions in Nashua
- Sponsoring the Monarch School of New England’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in Dover
- Sponsoring The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester’s 25th Annual Benefit for Mental Health in Manchester
- Sponsoring The Laura Foundation for Autism & Epilepsy’s Halloween Town in Madison
- Sponsoring the New Hampshire Children’s Trust Strengthening Families Summit in Concord
- Sponsoring the WOW Trail’s Runaway Pumpkin 10K and 5K in Laconia
- Sponsoring New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival, volunteering to set up for the event and hosting ‘Cash Mobs’ with the Lakes Region Chamber in Laconia
- Volunteering with and donating to Families in Transition in Manchester
- Volunteering at Capital Center for the Arts’ Sound and Color Festival in Concord
- Volunteering at Hands Across the Table in Laconia
