Bank of New Hampshire Donates $5,000 to Claremont Learning Partnership

09/09/2025

Laconia, New Hampshire – September 9, 2025 – Bank of New Hampshire (BNH) is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to the Claremont Learning Partnership in support of its Oasis Teen Center. This contribution will assist young individuals between the ages of 16 and 21 who are experiencing homelessness or unsafe living conditions.

The Oasis Teen Center provides immediate care and safety while also helping youth work toward self-sufficiency by addressing common barriers to transitioning into a permanent living environment.

This donation aligns with BNH’s 2025 giving priorities, which focus on expanding access to affordable housing across the state. As part of its long-standing commitment to community support, BNH continues to invest in solutions that address New Hampshire’s housing challenges, including financial barriers.

“We are honored to support Claremont Learning Partnership and their mission to help young individuals access stable housing,” said Mary LaBarge, AVP – Claremont Banking Office Manager for BNH. “Our donation will directly support initial costs associated with securing housing, such as rent security deposits, utility deposits and basic housing essentials.”

Cathy Pellerin, Executive Director of Claremont Learning Partnership, added, “We are grateful for Bank of New Hampshire’s support of our Oasis Teen Shelter. Their donation will help remove common barriers to independent housing, enabling young individuals to embark on the next chapter of their lives with confidence, dignity and the support they need.”

Bank of New Hampshire, founded in 1831, provides deposit, lending, and wealth management products and services to families and businesses throughout New Hampshire and southern Maine.
