Banks Play a Critical Role in New Hampshire’s Economy

The New Hampshire Bankers Association released a study, conducted in partnership with Polecon Research, examining the vital role banks play in the Granite State’s economy. The study analyzed job creation, lending volumes, tax revenues and community support generated by the state’s 40 chartered banks.

Most notably, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), banks in New Hampshire reinvest deposits into their local communities at the highest levels in the nation.* This significant reinvestment fuels economic growth across the state through:
