Laconia, New Hampshire – July 10, 2026 – Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center has received a $5,000 grant from Bank of New Hampshire to support educational enrichment programs that connect local youth with nature and environmental learning opportunities.
The grant will help offset the cost of three of Prescott Farm’s educational programs: Naturalist in the Classroom, Field Trip Program and Homeschool Series. By supporting these initiatives, the donation will help ensure children throughout the Lakes Region have access to high-quality environmental education and the same formative learning experiences as their peers.
“Investing in programs that enrich the lives of local children is an investment in the future of our communities,” said Janna Thompson, AVP – Laconia Banking Office Manager at Bank of New Hampshire. “Prescott Farm’s educational initiatives encourage exploration, critical thinking and a lifelong connection to nature, and we are honored to help make these experiences accessible to more youth across the Lakes Region.”
