Supporting Sustainable Commuting: BNH Donates to COAST’s Future Operations Hub
06/24/2025
Laconia, New Hampshire – June 6, 2025 – Bank of New Hampshire (BNH) is proud to announce a $2,500 charitable donation to Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST), a nonprofit transit network providing reliable and affordable transportation for commuters across the Seacoast region.
This donation will contribute to the development of COAST’s new operations facility in Dover, NH. As housing and employment opportunities grow increasingly distant, the cost of owning and maintaining a vehicle places a significant financial strain on many workers. Public transportation offers a practical, affordable and environmentally friendly solution.
“We are pleased to support this important fundraising campaign for COAST,” said Chris Logan, President and CEO of Bank of New Hampshire. “Providing affordable transit options not only helps commuters manage rising transportation costs, it also reduces traffic congestion, eases parking demands and supports a healthier environment for future generations.”
Bank of New Hampshire, founded in 1831, provides deposit, lending, and wealth management products and services to families and businesses throughout New Hampshire and southern Maine. With 21 banking offices and assets exceeding $2.5 billion, Bank of New Hampshire is the oldest and one of the largest independent banks in the state. Bank of New Hampshire is a mutual organization, focused on the success of its customers, communities and employees, rather than stockholders.
